Set up campus Wi-Fi on Android device

The following article will walk you through the setup of the campus Wifi on your Android phone or tablet.

First, open the "Settings" app on your device.

Tap on "Connections".

Tap on "Wi-Fi".

Tap on "nsula".

Configuring this properly is imperative to successfully logging into the "nsula" network. Perform the following steps:

1. Under "EAP method", at the top, tap on the drop-down and select "PEAP".

2. Tap on "CA certificate", and select "Don't validate". A warning message might appear, but you can ignore it and move on.

3. Enter your account credentials (same account you use for other NSU functions like your email, Microsoft Office products, and MyNSU) in the blanks provided. You can format your username with or without "@nsula.edu" at the end.

4. Tap "Connect". Ensuring "Auto reconnect" is turned on will ensure you don't have to manually sign into the Wi-Fi every time you come to campus.

After a few moments, your device should successfully connect to the campus Wi-Fi network.

NOTE: It seems that on some older Android devices, a "Phase 2 authentication" will show after this step. If it does, choose the MSCHAPv2 option.
