Install and access Microsoft Teams

Whether you're the leader of a department, lecturer of classes, supervisor of student employees, or officer of an RSO, Microsoft Teams makes it easy to organize, meet, and collaborate remotely at NSU. Instant messaging and calling between anyone at NSU is also available through Teams. We offer Teams for all faculty, staff, and students with an email address at nsula.edu.

When you're ready to get started, here are several ways to install or access Microsoft Teams:

  • On a Mac or MacBook provided by NSU, find it in the Self-service app: click here for instructions.
  • On a Windows/Dell PC provided by NSU, Microsoft Teams is already installed. Search the Start menu for teams or find the icon (shown above) on the desktop. If you're unable to find it installed, please contact us.
  • On a Mac or PC of your own: Get Teams directly from Microsoft here or go to teams.microsoft.com/downloads in a web browser.
  • On a mobile device, find Microsoft Teams in theĀ Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • On a Chromebook or otherwise, go to teams.microsoft.com to access it directly in the browser. A few features, such as screen sharing in meetings, may not be possible when accessed via the web. It is recommended to use the PC/Mac version over the web version if possible.

When prompted to sign in, use your email address provided by NSU. After following the prompts to log in, access to Teams is granted immediately, so you can start organizing or chatting right away.
